We are now seeking a Full Stack Developer to help pioneer our Waterloo technology hub, driving the development of proprietary software and innovative solutions.

At our Waterloo office, you'll be surrounded by some of the brightest minds in tech, building innovative solutions together from the ground up.

This role will focus on designing, building, and deploying scalable web applications and APIs that integrate with our e-commerce and AI systems.

Full Stack Development



Design and develop modern web applications with both front-end and back-end components Build intuitive user interfaces using React, Next.js, or similar frameworks Develop secure and scalable APIs (FastAPI, Node.js, or similar) Work with SQL/NoSQL databases to design efficient schemas and manage data flows Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and scalability

System Integration



Connect applications with third-party APIs, services, and external data sources such as AWS and Seller Central Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate intelligent features into applications Implement monitoring, logging, and debugging tools for production systems Deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Collaboration & Growth



Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver end-to-end solutions Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions Help shape the technical roadmap for our e-commerce and AI platforms
Requirements

Education



Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.

Technical Skills



Strong proficiency in

Python

and

JavaScript/TypeScript

Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue.js, or similar) Back-end experience with FastAPI, Node.js, Django, or similar frameworks Solid knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB, etc.) Experience with cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines

Bonus (Nice to Have)



Exposure to AI frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, etc.) Understanding of large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering Knowledge of vector databases or retrieval systems

Soft Skills



Problem-solving mindset and strong analytical skills Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment Skilled at debugging and troubleshooting complex systems Passion for building scalable, production-ready applications

Experience



2-5 years in full stack development Proven experience delivering production-ready applications E-commerce or SaaS experience is a strong asset
