Position Overview

We're hiring a Full Stack Developer to build end-to-end web applications--front end, back end, and cloud. You'll use modern tooling (including AI assistants like Copilot/Claude/ChatGPT) to speed up development while applying strong engineering judgment, testing, and documentation.

Full-Time, Permanent

Salary:

$80,000 per year

Work Week:

The Employee will work during regular business hours, Monday to Friday for 37.5 hours per week (not including a 30-minute unpaid meal break per day). Flexibility will be required. Occasional evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Downtown Vancouver, BC (Alexander Innovation Centre)

Requirements

Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and systems design -- and ability to apply them in real-world applications. Proven experience in full stack development (React, Vue, or Angular + Node.js, Python, Go, or similar). Demonstrated ability to rapidly prototype using AI development tools (Claude Code, ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.). Proficiency with databases (SQL & NoSQL), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and CI/CD pipelines. Comfortable learning new frameworks, languages, and tools on the fly. Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and collaboration skills. Experience with robotics, IoT, or AI/ML frameworks. Background in startups or rapid development environments.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy full stack web and mobile applications using modern frameworks and AI-assisted development tools. Architect efficient, scalable systems with well-designed data structures and algorithms. Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices. Integrate APIs, cloud services, and AI/ML components as needed. Stay ahead of the curve with the latest AI, SWE, and tech industry developments. Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and product innovation.
