Position Overview

This is a senior full stack developer role which requires broad set of expertise including PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Angular, Python, Ionic. The successful candidate will have senior role in providing high quality design and development of the WaitWell Enterprise Platform.

Key responsibilities:

? Work with Product Management to design/plan/develop continuing enhancements.

? Help manage server infrastructure.

? Support our CSR team to resolve level 3 support issues.

? Develop and deploy API solutions using modern DevOps practices and security standards

? Plan, develop, support and implement integration solutions to customer systems or external vendor applications.

? Optimize performance for our high-traffic multi-tenant SaaS environment

? Participate in virtual meetings, on-camera, and calls with colleagues and customers from a home office or in office setting.

Required skills and experience:

? Diploma or degree from an accredited Computer Science or Information Technology program or equivalent professional experience

? 5+ years of experience in analysis, design, and implementation of software systems

? Working knowledge of various technologies listed above.

? Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

? Familiarity with Amazon AWS is an asset.

? Experience with AI development/design/usage is an asset.

? Experience with modern development languages, platforms, and architectures

? Experience writing scalable, maintainable, and testable code that naturally minimizes errors

? The ability to solve problems collaboratively in a team setting

? Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and effectively collaborate as a remote team member.

Location:

This is a hybrid position based in Calgary. WaitWell places a high value on teamwork, collaboration, and culture. A minimum of three days a week will be required at our Calgary office with the option to two remotely for the other two days, however standard office hours will be expected.
