Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage comprehensive accounting functions for a portfolio of clients. This role requires a thorough understanding accounting principles for corporate and non-profit organizations, with the ability to handle tasks independently. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients using cloud-based accounting software (primarily QBO, with some Sage50) Perform daily bookkeeping tasks such as recording transactions, reconciling bank statements Lead the implementation and maintenance of cloud-based accounting systems and tools for new clients Processing payroll (Ceridian, ADP, Wagepoint, Quickbooks Payroll) and A/P Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements Prepare for financial audits, and work with auditors to assist in the completion of financial audits Assist with budgeting processes and financial planning activities Provide exceptional client service, focusing on understanding and meeting the unique needs of our clients

Requirements

Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role with extensive knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) Minimum of 3 years experience with cloud-based accounting firm Proficiency in accounting software (QBO, Sage50) and tools (Dext, Plooto, Telpay) Familiarity with payroll processing (Ceridian, ADP, Wagepoint, Payworks, Quickbooks Payroll, etc.) Prior bookkeeping experience with not-for-profits or charities Experience with financial audits Experience onboarding clients Eagerness to learn and continuously develop Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently Strong analytical skills combined with attention to detail in maintaining accurate financial records

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
