Position Title: Fueling Attendant

Team and Location: Commercial - Coal Harbour, BC

Expected Hourly Rate: $27 - $29/hour

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for refueling boats and ensuring a clean and safe worksite for all employees and customers. Weekend work and/or on-call is required to ensure our customers are serviced in a timely matter. As this position functions in a highly customer focused environment all persons are expected to perform their job duties in a professional manner and adhere to our company values. This role will be expected to be at more than one Marina on a weekly basis, reliable transportation is required. Shift work will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work safely, always.
  • Process customer payments, invoicing, account inquiries and bank deposits.
  • Answering calls and directing queries to appropriate staff.
  • Maintains an inventory of fuel tanks.
  • Conducts daily/monthly site inspection(s) as needed.
  • Manage lubes inventory and lube customer requests.
  • Inspects fuel tanks to ensure proper working condition.
  • Provide back-up for card lock duties: cleaning pumps; pick up garbage; changing nozzles.
  • Summer and winter yard facility maintenance.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work varied shifts. Role will float between Marina\'s for shift coverage as required. * Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced changing environment and excellent organizational skills.
  • The ability to apply good common sense and safety skills to any situation
  • Time management skills and the ability work with others as well as unsupervised.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs as needed.
  • The ability to apply safety skills to any situation.
  • Previous WHMIS, Dangerous Goods and Spill Response training an asset.
  • Experience with internal billing system applications is considered an asset.
  • A recreational boating license (PCL) would be an asset.
  • Point-of-sale systems experience would be an asset.
  • The site is a 24/7/365 site \xe2\x80\x93 Ability to work shift work and weekends is a must. The shift for this role is 4 days/week, 10 hour shifts. Friday - Monday, 6 am - 4 pm or 7:30 am - 6 pm.
