What is the Job?

This position provides support for the sales department in the preparation and movement of trucks and maintaining the dealership lot.

Duties & Responsibilities

Safely driving heavy/medium trucks within Langley and surrounding areas (local travel only, no overnight trips)*
Fueling and boosting trucks Rinsing trucks in the wash bay Assist with receiving trucks delivered to the dealership from the factory Removing snow etc from windshields/hoods and shovel snow between display trucks General yard maintenance (pick up garbage and keep dealership exterior looking professional) Follows direction from the sales department Communicates effectively and professionally with all departments Performs the role efficiently and accurately Other tasks as assigned

What you need:

Minimum Class 3 License is required with clean & recent drivers' abstract (within last 30 days). Class 1 is an asset. Previous experience driving medium & heavy trucks Experience hooking up and using a shuttle truck Experience using a battery booster Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Ability to multi-task, prioritize work assignments and take initiative Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
