Reporting to the Hardware Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:
To come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude.
To be dependable for all scheduled shifts.
To provide excellent customer service by building trusted relationships with customers through knowledge, guidance and support in a manner which will promote the sale of merchandise and meet the needs, requirements and expectations of the customer.
Responsible for the opening and closing procedures of the Home Centre as directed by management.
Under the direction of management, to train team members in the general operation of assigned sections.
To assume responsibility for a designated section of the sales floor including merchandising standards, inventory control, and ordering.
Responsible for informing, searching for, and submitting special orders for customers using the special order procedure.
To review and act on various system reports as they pertain to the section in collaboration with the Supervisor and/or management.
To assist in processing customer returns.
To be familiar with and adhere to Saskatoon Co-op policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
