We're looking for a HR Data Administrator to join our Administration team at Calgary Alpha House Society. In this role, you will use your knowledge of HR practices and processes, as well as solid administrative and data entry skills, to support the transition of data from the current HR information system to the new one. This is currently a 3-month term with possibility of extension for an additional 1-2 months. This is an exciting opportunity for those looking for an entry-level role within the Human Resources field and hands-on experience with HRIS systems. Your responsibilities would include:
Support the transition of pertinent employee data from Dayforce to UKG (HRIS)
Ensure data is reviewed and entered with the highest degree of accuracy
Create reports as needed
Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions as any issues in the data transfer arise
Provide recommendations to increase efficiency in the movement of data, as applicable
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data per privacy policies and Alpha House policies and procedures
About You:
The ideal candidate would have the following:
Completion of, or in-progress, of a HR Degree/Diploma/Certificate, or equivalent, from a post-secondary educational institution
1-2 years of high-volume data entry experience
Experience with a HRIS or database
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with discretion
Ability to exercise judgement, maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot issues as they arise
Experience with Dayforce and/or UKG would be considered an asset
Must be tolerant, non-judgmental with a high degree of compassion and empathy towards the homeless and those struggling with addictions and/or mental health
Position Requirements:
Able to provide a Vulnerable Sector Search, valid within the last six months, that does not contain any results material to the position
Proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID
FOIP Certification, and It's your Move" training, or equivalent Lift training (Can be done prior to orientation)
