Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fryer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating frying equipment and ensuring that food products are prepared to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong focus on cleanliness, time management, and effective communication with team members to maintain a smooth workflow in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

Operate frying equipment safely and efficiently to prepare food items. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal product quality. Maintain cleanliness in the frying area by adhering to strict hygiene standards. Perform routine maintenance on frying equipment, including cleaning and troubleshooting as necessary. Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while handling hot oil and equipment.

Requirements

Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with commercial cleaning practices to maintain a sanitary workspace. Familiarity with power tools and hand tools for equipment maintenance is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for equipment handling and ingredient preparation. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with team members and customers. Knowledge of facilities maintenance or custodial duties is a plus. Strong communication skills to convey information clearly among kitchen staff.
