Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Front Store Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sense of customer service, and experience in retail sales within a grocery or pharmacy environment. As a Front Store Cashier, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth checkout processes, assisting customers with product inquiries, and maintaining an organized sales floor to enhance the shopping experience.

Duties

Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and swiftly. Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Conduct product demos and upselling activities to promote additional items and increase sales. Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform basic math calculations with precision. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and coordinating restocking efforts. Demonstrate phone etiquette when communicating with customers or suppliers to uphold professional standards.

Experience

Candidates should have prior experience in retail sales, preferably within a grocery store or pharmacy setting. Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and merchandising practices is essential. Strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and a focus on excellent customer service are critical for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
