The Front of House Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment. This position is responsible for overseeing the front of house staff, managing customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily front of house operations to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Train, mentor, and manage front of house staff to enhance their skills in customer service and food handling.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.
Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accurate transactions using POS systems, including Micros POS.
Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant.
Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Assist with restaurant management tasks as needed, including inventory management and scheduling.
Skills
Proven experience in supervising staff within a food service or restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences.
Leadership abilities to inspire and motivate team members towards achieving common goals.
Experience in interviewing candidates and participating in the hiring process.
Understanding of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance.
Background in hospitality with experience in barista roles or hotel settings is a plus.
