We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic restaraunt team. Helping to kickstart a brand new restaraunt in downton Victoria, BC. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will play a vital role in the daily operations of our restaurant, contributing to a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously. Take and process customer orders using the POS system. Provide detailed menu information and assist guests with their selections. Ensure food safety and proper food handling practices are followed at all times. Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction. Uphold high standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times.

Skills

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of the food industry. Proficiency in using POS systems, is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
