Job Overview:

Tin Roof Cafe is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and motivated individual to join our team as a Barista/Front of House Employee. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, food, dedicated to providing excellent customer service, and capable of maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, food, managing customer orders, and ensuring the front-of-house area is clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner Interacts with colleagues in a friendly and professional manner and contributes to the team in a positive manner Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar. Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to customers' specifications Prepare and serve sandwiches, wraps and other food items to customers' specifications Operate coffee-making equipment and follow standard recipes Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance. Handle cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area and kitchen area, including the counter, seating areas, and restrooms Assist with restocking supplies and inventory management Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
