Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle various tasks will contribute to a smooth operation in our fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems. Assist in food handling and preparation, adhering to safety and hygiene standards. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance the dining experience. Manage tables, ensuring timely service and addressing any guest inquiries or concerns. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication regarding orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations. Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes. Support bartending staff as needed, including serving drinks and managing bar inventory.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Basic math skills for handling transactions and order calculations. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service delivery. Food handling certification is a nice-to-have but not required; training will be provided. A willingness to help team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
