We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. This role is essential in ensuring the restaurant's daily operation is successful and will thrive in maintaining a positive working relationship with our head office. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and great communication skills.
Duties
Communicate daily with head office regarding daily feautures, promotions, staffing levels, and local events.
Supervise and manage front-of-house staff, ensuring high levels of customer service and hospitality.
Manage the Point of Sale (POS) system, including cash handling and transaction accuracy.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining areas, adhering to food handling regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and communication between front and back of house.
Monitor inventory levels for beverage and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
Implement health and safety protocols in accordance with local regulations.
Experience
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
Strong background in drink preparation, cooking, and serving techniques.
Familiarity with POS systems.
Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on team management and leadership.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
