Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for the food and beverage industry. This role involves overseeing daily front-of-house activities, supervising staff, managing customer relations, and maintaining high standards of food quality and hospitality. Previous experience with POS systems and restaurant or hotel environments is highly desirable. The Front of House Manager will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service delivery
Oversee food service operations, including serving, food handling, and hospitality standards
Manage customer relations to ensure guest satisfaction and handle any complaints professionally
Monitor daily restaurant operations
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in the dining area
Assist with food preparation and expo when needed
Be hands on and ready to take on whatever it takes mentality
Managing labour daily
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting; leadership skills are essential
Experience with POS systems
Background in restaurant management or hotel experience is preferred
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns diplomatically
Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of hospitality and service quality
Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to interview potential team members and manage staff schedules
