We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee daily operations in our bustling restaurant environment. This role is essential in ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient team management, and smooth front-of-house operations. Duties
Supervise and manage front-of-house staff, ensuring high standards of customer service and team performance.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and safety standards.
Manage the Point of Sale (POS) systems, including cash handling and transaction accuracy.
Conduct interviews and training for new staff members, fostering a positive work environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively to enhance guest satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and service stations.
Monitor inventory levels for food and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
Strong supervisory experience with a focus on team management and leadership skills.
Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse clientele effectively.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
Previous experience in hospitality settings such as hotels or cafes is preferred.
Barista experience is a plus for establishments that serve coffee or specialty beverages.
