Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the counter in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and portion sizes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Train and supervise counter staff, providing guidance and support as necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
- Strong math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with cashiering and operating a POS system
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
