We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee daily operations in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to lead and train staff effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Manage all front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Supervise and train staff in food handling, cash handling, and customer service protocols.
Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
Utilize POS systems (Lightspeed) for efficient order processing and cash management.
Implement training and development programs for staff to enhance their skills in hospitality and food service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and other front-of-house spaces.
Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure timely food production and quality standards.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance the dining experience.
Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the front-of-house operations.
Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards.
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and staff training.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and kitchen management.
Familiarity with quick service & fast food restaurant operations as well as fine dining experiences.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly.
Experience with cash handling procedures and inventory control processes.
Background in hospitality management or related fields is preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
