We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a solid background in food service management. This role is crucial in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences while maintaining a smooth and efficient front-of-house operation.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, to ensure high-quality service.
Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Ensure adherence to food safety and handling standards in compliance with health regulations.
Manage the restaurant's POS system, including cash handling and transaction accuracy.
Train and mentor staff in customer service techniques, food preparation, and menu knowledge.
Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area to enhance guest experience.
Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
Strong supervisory experience with a focus on team management and leadership.
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Experience in interviewing and training staff members effectively.
Background in hospitality or hotel experience is a plus.
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
Strong communication skills with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
