Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a positive first impression. Take and process customer orders accurately using the POS system. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and answer any questions regarding food and beverages. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Assist with food handling and ensure compliance with health regulations in the food industry. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.

Skills

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food service industry. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both customers and team members. Pay: $17.85-$25.90 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
