Duties

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions accurately. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions with accuracy while adhering to cash handling procedures. Maintain sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas to ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with serving food and beverages to customers as needed, promoting upselling opportunities. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Demonstrate effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Skills

Experience in food preparation and handling within the food service industry is preferred. Proficient in operating POS systems, particularly Micros POS. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Cashiering experience with knowledge of cash handling procedures. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing time efficiently. Previous restaurant experience is a plus but not required.
