Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front House Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in restaurant management and a passion for the food industry. This role requires effective leadership, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage daily operations efficiently.

Duties

Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness. Manage staff, including hiring, training, and supervising employees to create a cohesive team environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Maintain inventory control and manage cash handling procedures. Utilize POS systems (such as Touch Bistro POS) for order processing and financial reporting. Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and improve service efficiency. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training opportunities. Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly to ensure an enjoyable dining experience.

Requirements

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations. Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Touch Bistro POS is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Understanding of food safety standards and regulations related to food handling. Previous experience in interviewing and training staff is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
