Through this program, we strive to foster a culture of mentorship, collaboration, and continuous learning, empowering co-op students to contribute meaningfully to our projects and initiatives.This role is an on-site role at our Ottawa office.While working in the role of Front-End Lab Technician, you will be working hands-on in a fast-paced lab environment. You will be responsible for documenting the disassembly of consumer electronic devices through high-resolution photography, as well as identifying and cataloging the components found inside and entering them into our inventory management system. In this role you will be working with DSLR cameras, photo-editing software, hand tools (screwdrivers, cutting tools, wrenches, prying tools, etc), and power tools (drills, cutting tools, heat guns, etc). In addition to this, you will gain some hands-on experience with specialized lab equipment.WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Disassembly of Consumer Electronics
• Capturing High-Quality Photos of the Disassembly Process
• Identifying and Cataloguing of the Electronic Components and Sub-Systems.

WHO YOU ARE

• Must be a post-secondary student enrolled in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields.
• Keen interest in or experience with Microelectronics.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.
