Greeting guests with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately, and providing prompt and efficient service.
Accurately recording orders using the restaurant's system and ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages.
Processing payments, handling cash transactions, and managing the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Familiarizing themselves with the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
Ensuring the dining area, including tables, seating, and common areas, are clean and presentable.
Addressing customer questions, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner.
Helping with other restaurant tasks as needed, such as preparing items like burgers, wings, milkshakes or salads, packaging takeout orders, or bussing tables.
Additional Skills:
Effectively communicating with both customers and team members.
Working collaboratively with other FOH and BOH (back-of-house) staff to ensure smooth operations.
Addressing and resolving customer issues or technical problems with the POS system.
Being flexible and able to handle a busy environment and multiple tasks.
Understanding basic food safety and hygiene practices.
