True North Sports + Entertainment is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our team!

The Front Desk Security plays a vital role in the responsibility of public, safety & security for employees and patrons of Shark Club Sports Bar & Grill.

What to be excited for in this role:

Checking validity of I.D's entering the property Uphold regulations to provide a secure environment for all employees, visitors, and patrons. Protect the property and assets of Shark Club Sports Bar & Grill from theft or damage. Maintain order within and around the property using conflict resolution. Oversee access to the property including checking I.D. Validity and enforcement of access procedures, all based on established policies. Respond to disturbances, threats, and all other emergencies as necessary. Conduct regular security rounds and maintain a legible detailed log of rounds and complete detailed reports of all incidents as required. Pro-actively providing outstanding service to all guests entering or walking by Shark Club with the goal of creating a Superior Guest Experience. Assist guests with coat check. Perform other duties as required that align with the responsibilities of the role and the needs of the organization.

What we need from you:

Must be able to work, days, evenings, and weekends. Willing to work overnights as required. Must have or be able to obtain a valid Manitoba security license. High School diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must provide a clean criminal record check as well as child abuse registry check 2 years' experience in the security industry. Ability to work independently, be a positive contributor to a team in a fast-paced sports and entertainment environment. Be of good physical condition to conduct a variety of physically challenging duties. Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time. Working knowledge of crowd control considered an asset. Background in conflict resolution, problem solving and guest experience. Strong service skills with a demonstrated ability to positively interact with the public.
