Front Desk Receptionist

Job Description

We are a custom kitchen company presently seeking a mature candidate who is a positive self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, proficient computer knowledge, and a hard-working positive attitude. This is required as the position requires administrative support to our designers as well as handling telephone inquiries and showroom sales.

The successful candidate must be able to:

Greet clients and effectively communicate with clients in the showroom

Handle telephone inquires, including potential leads and direct calls accordingly

Prepare contracts, process cheque deposits & credit card payments

Learn and maintain knowledge of our product and our process

File, photocopy and scan contracts, drawings, payments, etc.

Order, organize and label showroom door and colour samples

Order and stock office supplies, when necessary

Arrange courier deliveries and schedule appointments

Provide administrative support to the sales designers and management

Provide client service support and excellent customer service

Maintain the cleanliness of the showroom and reception area

May include other administrative duties as assigned by management

Skills Required:

A minimum of 2 years experience in administration and reception is required

Exemplary interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients

Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, esp. Word and Excel

Must be organized, reliable, punctual and detailed oriented

Excellent communication and written skills are a must

Must be mathematically competent and a team player

Email management is essential

Excellent telephone manner is a must

Must be presentable with a friendly personality

Knowledge of the custom cabinetry industry will be considered an asset, but not necessary

Candidate must be available to work: Saturdays 9:30 am - 5:00 pm,

potential for more hours in the future

Must live in the vicinity or surrounding area
