Job Description

Located in Norman Wells, the Receptionist provides confidential administrative and secretarial support such as managing and preparing correspondence, records management, and general organization for the Tlegohli Got'ine Government Incorporated.

Responsibilities



Greeting and welcoming visitors as they arrive at the office; Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls; Professionally communicating basic and accurate information in person, via phone, and email; Receiving, sorting, and distributing daily mail; Establishing and maintaining files and record systems; Performing other clerical receptionist duties; Assisting the Administrative and Wellness Coordinator(s) with programming and event execution Providing functional and administrative support to the Administrative Coordinator, Executive, and Directors, as requested; Maintaining and updating documentation for both internal and external users; Maintaining confidentiality at all times as the Receptionist will be privy to various confidential matters which are not to be discussed with any persons external to the organization; and Other duties as required and instructed by the Employer in its sole discretion.

Responsible, Accountable, and Dependable; Strong work ethic; Ability to multi-task; Attention to detail and effective time management; Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of programs; and Strong listening and communication skills.

Qualifications



High School Diploma; OR 2 years' related experience. A valid Driver's License. A consistent attendance record at your previous employer. Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. The ability to wear many hats in a fast-paced and politically sensitive environment. Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication to the mission of the Tlegohli Got'ine Government.

Remuneration and Compensation



It will be based on experience and to be negotiated.

In addition to an annual salary, the successful candidate will receive two (2) weeks paid vacation plus two (2) employer-paid roundtrip airfare between Norman Wells and Edmonton.

Pay: $34.00-$42.07 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
