We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our organization. This energetic role involves managing front desk operations and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, tech-savvy, and possess excellent communication skills to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive experience for visitors and staff alike.
Duties
Greet visitors, clients, and vendors warmly, creating a professional and inviting atmosphere
Answering and directing phone calls, emails, and correspondences
Maintain organized filing systems--both physical and digital--ensuring easy access to documents
Operate office equipment such as printers/photocopiers, phone systems, and postage mailing system while maintaining their functionality
Ordering office supplies, etc.
Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly via phone or email with professional phone etiquette
Mailing using postage meter, and upkeep of such
Handling confidential information with discretion
Other miscellaneous admin duties as required
Experience
Proven experience in an office environment with strong clerical and administrative skills
Prior front desk or receptionist experience preferred
Demonstrated proficiency in computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Strong customer service background with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and courteously
Ability to work independently and as part of a team is a must
Bilingualism is an asset (French & English)
Experience with bookkeeping duties is advantageous
Knowledge of office management practices including filing systems, calendar management, and document proofreading is highly desirable
