Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our front office. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in a medical or dental office is a plus, as you will be the first point of contact for our clients.

Responsibilities



Greet and assist patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and taking messages when necessary. Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for the office. Perform data entry tasks accurately, including patient information and appointment records. Handle filing and clerical duties to ensure efficient office operations. Utilize Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks for various administrative tasks. Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Proofread documents for accuracy before distribution or filing. Maintain confidentiality of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with bookkeeping tasks as needed, ensuring financial records are up-to-date.

Experience



Previous experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred. Familiarity with medical or dental office procedures is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace is required. Strong typing skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on phone etiquette and professionalism. Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus.
