The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for members, guests, and visitors at the tennis club. This role combines hospitality, customer service, and administration. The receptionist manages check-ins, payments, bookings, and member inquiries, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Greet members, guests, and visitors warmly and professionally.
Manage court bookings, lesson scheduling, and event registrations.
Process and track payments (cash, credit/debit, e-transfer, online platforms).
Maintain accurate financial records of all daily transactions.
Ensure members are up-to-date with fees, memberships, and outstanding balances.
Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries promptly.
Provide information about membership packages, programs, and promotions.
Keep reception area/Clubhouse/Bathroom clean, organized, and welcoming.
Support tennis coaches and club management with administrative tasks.
Follow club policies on cancellations, refunds, and payment collection.
Qualifications
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Experience with POS systems, spreadsheets, or club management software preferred.
Ability to handle cash and reconcile end-of-day totals accurately.
Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, tournaments).
