We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our organization. This vital role involves managing front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth administrative workflows. Responsibilities
Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to promptly.
Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls to appropriate departments or personnel with professionalism and courtesy.
Welcome guests warmly and handle check-ins and check-outs with efficiency and professionalism
Manage phone calls, emails, and reservations while maintaining attention to detail
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and issues promptly and effectively, ensuring complete guest satisfaction
Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance to coordinate room readiness and resolve guest concerns
Process payments, verify identification, and maintain accurate records
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area at all times
Follow all Marriott and Four Points brand standards, including grooming, service, and operational procedures
Perform multiple tasks simultaneously and manage priorities effectively during busy periods
Conduct clerical tasks such as proofreading documents, data entry, and maintaining accurate records of office activities.
Support administrative functions like proofreading correspondence, managing time-sensitive tasks.
Uphold excellent phone etiquette at all times while handling inquiries with patience and clarity.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience in an office environment with strong clerical skills; previous reception or administrative experience is highly preferred.
Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred, but training will be provided
Strong multitasking skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Professional appearance and friendly, approachable demeanor
Strong computer skills (experience with hotel PMS systems such as Lightspeed or Marriott systems is an asset)
Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required
A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to great guest experiences
