Brightside Integrated Health is a multi-disciplinary mental health and wellness clinic, located in Dartmouth, NS. Our clinic is a warm and welcoming environment, with an amazing team of staff and practitioners. We currently have a part-time office administrator position available and are seeking the right person to complement our team.
The hours are as follows:
Sunday: 8:30am - 4:30pm
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays: 4:00pm - 8:30pm
Duties Include:
Providing customer service in a friendly and professional manner
Front desk reception and administration
Managing scheduling using the Jane booking system
Billing insurance companies
Retail sales and point of sale
Written correspondence and report editing
Maintaining the tidiness of the reception area
Special Skills and Knowledge:
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Professional and grammatically accurate writing skills
Exercise sound judgement and problem solving skills
Experienced in billing, including through insurance companies
Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Be willing to learn and adapt with the evolving needs of the clinic
Education and Experience
Must be bondable and a clear criminal record check is required
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
Experience with the Jane booking system is an asset
Post-secondary education in medical administration is an asset
Minimum of two years office administration/management experience is required
Experience working within the mental health field is an asset
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
