The Opportunity



Reporting to the HR Generalist, the Receptionist will be responsible for the several administrative support duties that keep our office running efficiently, including greeting visitors, handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, maintaining a fully stocked kitchen and office supply inventory. This in-office position is a full time role.

Reception/Customer Service Duties:



Positively and professionally represent Reotech Construction and communicate effectively with owners, customers, trades, and members of our team Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls Welcoming visitors and ensuring they are connected with the appropriate person - remain aware of meetings and host accordingly Send out parcels and coordinate shipments with couriers Receive and distribute mail and deliveries, including receipts from the shop Make certain of staff movements in and out of office - screen communication accordingly Organize company parties and/or large meetings Print and assemble drawings upon request Keep the reception/lobby/copy room area clean and organized Other duties as assigned

Office Supply/Kitchen Duties:



Manage the Kitchen Cleaning Calendar for the office Perform kitchen and bathroom sweeps each shift to ensure they are properly stocked and sanitized Coffee machine maintenance throughout the office Grocery inventory (including water) and weekly orders Kitchen prep: Cut vegetables, portion food, FIFO (first in-first out), weekly fridge expiry date check Ordering office supplies and taking proper inventory Research, order and maintain office appliances and equipment - work with Principals to inquire about any needed upgrades Maintain and organize the file room (files, hardware inventory, Reotech clothing and merchandise inventory)

Required Skills/Experience:



A minimum 2 years of relevant experience Must be able to attend scheduled workdays in person Experience in the construction industry would be an asset Professional and friendly demeanor Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal Ability to lead by example with a strong work ethic and have a proven record of excellence in attendance and dependability Effective time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, and work with ambiguity High attention to detail and capable of meeting quality standards Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
