SmileDesign Dental Care is looking to hire a dental receptionist. We have 4 locations: Downtown Hamilton, Stoney Creek Winona, Stoney Creek King Street, and Binbrook. Responsibilities and Duties \xc2\xb7 Greet patients \xc2\xb7 Enter all relevant patient information into data system \xc2\xb7 Maintain and manage patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations \xc2\xb7 Answer and manage incoming calls \xc2\xb7 Confirm upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol \xc2\xb7 Check daily appointment schedule \xc2\xb7 Fill in cancellations and no-shows \xc2\xb7 Organize referrals to other medical specialists \xc2\xb7 Dispatch lab work appropriately \xc2\xb7 Collect and receipt payments from patients at time of treatment \xc2\xb7 Prepare claim forms for dental insurance \xc2\xb7 Arrange supporting documents for insurance claims \xc2\xb7 Maintain a professional reception area Required Education, Skills and Qualifications \xc2\xb7 AT LEAST 1 year of dental experience preferred \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of dental terminology and Dentrix is preferred \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures is an asset Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $18.00-$26.00 per hour Benefits:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• administrative assistant: 1 year (preferred)
• Administrative Assistants & Receptionists: 1 year (preferred)
