As a front desk receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors. You will perform various tasks to ensure a smooth and professional operation of the clinic.

Responsibilities:
Welcoming and directing visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Receiving and sorting mail
Scheduling patient appointments according to practitioner availability, and confirming them via phone and/or email.
Explaining intake forms to patients and processing payments using cash, POS, or electronic billing.
Operating a multi-line system to answer calls, transfer calls, provide information, schedule appointments and take messages.
Welcoming walk-in clients and addressing questions and concerns
Billings for ICBC, WorkSafeBC, and Third-party Insurances
Use of Microsoft office
Engaging with Extended Health Benefits and Doctor/Lawyer offices.
Reconciling cash at the end of the day and preparing deposits.
Restocking of supplies and updating inventory as needed.
Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the clinic
Performing opening and closing procedures according to clinic policies.
Performing administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
Handling confidential information with discretion and integrity
Providing administrative support to the physiotherapists and other staff members
Previous Jane App experience will be considered an asset but not required.

Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in a medical office or similar customer service role
Valid eligibility to legally work in Canada (Citizenship, PR, current/valid work permit)
