Crescent Oral Surgery is a busy Oral and Maxillofacial surgical clinic with three locations, providing trusted care to our patients. We are currently looking to grow our administrative team at our Richmond Hill location. The successful candidate will serve as our first impression and front-line representative. This role contributes to the smooth and effective daily operations of our offices and helps to ensure that our patients have the best possible health care experience at Crescent Oral Surgery.
Responsibilities include:
Front Desk Greeter Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients, ensuring patient stream and clinic flow
Follow and update schedule and all appointment progress throughout the day
Communicate continuously with clinic staff and doctors, with updates on appointment status
Track all appointment status, including payments, cancellations, schedule changes
Review schedule with Doctor and team for the current day
Communicating by phone and email with patients, doctors, referring offices, to confirm information, confirm appointments, and follow up
Review chart documents complete and prepared for upcoming appointments
Assist anyone walking in to the office, including patients, deliveries, ect.
Accept packages and distribute
Monitor and reply to text messages from patients
Assist billing team on busy days to submit insurance claims and collect payments
Complete billing spread sheets
Complete necessary and appropriate documentation, including scheduling notes, completing billing spreadsheets, updating wait lists, Electronic Health records as needed
Completing end of day appointment reports
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year of post-secondary education/dental experience preferred
Excellent
customer service skills
; A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or reception role
A minimum of 1 year of administrative support experience is preferred
Ability to
work independently
with minimal supervision in a
fast-paced environment
Must have
excellent oral and written communication skills
and a
strong attention to detail
Ability to
multi-task in a busy team environment
