Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional guest services at our hotel. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient check-in and check-out processes. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Duties

Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist with the check-in process. Manage guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using our hotel management system. Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance the guest experience. Operate multi-line phone systems to answer calls, transfer inquiries, and take messages as needed. Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions while ensuring confidentiality. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences. Proficiency in front desk operations within a hotel environment is preferred. Experience with multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls efficiently. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly while maintaining professionalism. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail in all tasks related to guest services.
