Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, guest-focused setting, contributing to memorable experiences for our visitors. Previous hotel experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and strong communication skills are essential. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued to assist diverse guests effectively.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures Manage multi-line phone systems to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction Maintain front desk area cleanliness and organization Process payments and manage billing accurately Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready and meet quality standards Keep detailed records of guest interactions and reservations for reporting purposes

Skills

Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Strong customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with front desk operations in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred Proficiency in using multi-line phone systems and reservation software Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse guests Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest services best practices Professional appearance and positive attitude to represent the hotel brand effectively

Pay: From $19.70 per hour
