We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Clerk to provide exceptional guest services. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth check-in/check-out process. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Previous hotel experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
Manage multi-line phone systems to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests
Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Assist with administrative tasks such as booking reservations, processing payments, and updating guest records
Collaborate with housekeeping
Light housekeeping and laundry also required
Requirements
Previous experience in front desk or hospitality roles is preferred
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to operate multi-line phone systems effectively
Knowledge of hotel operations and guest services is a plus
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Hours required are a mixture of shifts on weekdays, weekends and public holidays
