We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring accuracy in guest information.
Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
Operate multi-line phone systems to respond to calls promptly and professionally.
Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications as needed.
Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean and organized at all times.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly.
Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
Provide support for guest services, including handling special requests or complaints effectively.
Experience
Previous experience in front desk Hotel/Motel is preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
Strong phone etiquette skills are essential for managing multi-line phone systems professionally.
A background in hospitality will be beneficial in understanding guest needs and expectations.
