dynamic and customer-focused IHG Hotel Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor
to serve as the primary point of contact for our guests and ensure a seamless and welcoming experience throughout their stay.
In this dual role, responsibilities include handling guest check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, and providing accurate information about room availability, rates, and hotel amenities. As the Night Auditor, additional duties involve completing end-of-day financial reporting, running audit procedures, assisting with shuttle service when required, and overseeing the security and operations of the hotel premises during overnight hours.

The ideal candidate must be adaptable and open to working AM, PM, or overnight shifts, depending on scheduling requirements.
Responsibilities
Welcome guests upon their arrival and check in/out guests
Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications
Provide hotel information, local directions, and recommendations.
Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner
Performs Night Audit duties, Reconcile daily financial transactions (room charges, payments, POS sales), Generate end-of-day reports (revenue, occupancy, etc.)
Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction.
Knows daily activities and meetings taking place in the hotel. Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the Front Office Manager or General Manager
Performs other duties as assigned
Do shuttle service run if needed be
Skills
Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role preferred
Experience with the hotel reservation software Hotel Key is a plus.
Experience with Gmail and other Office software
Ability to understand and adhere to proper credit card and cash handling policies and procedures. Able to properly secure guest information.
Proper telephone etiquette
Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Expedia, Priceline, Booking and Hotels.com
Engaging and Professional Customer Service Attitude
Excellent communication and organizational skills toward the public, hotel staff and management
