We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless experience for our guests during their stay. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and be proficient in managing front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and handling guest inquiries. As a Night Auditor, you will also be responsible for balancing accounts and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions during the night shift.
Responsibilities
Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions.
Perform nightly audits to ensure all financial transactions are balanced.
Respond to phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Assist with any guest issues or complaints, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with other hotel departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
Skills
Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple calls effectively.
Previous experience in front desk operations within a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
