Front Desk Agent (Full Time/Seasonal - May through October (Ability to work flexible hours).

Position Overview:
As an Ambassador for Cabot, you are proud to greet our guests upon arrival to the resort with a smile. Executional Excellence:
With the support of the Manager, Front Desk you:
  • Provide each guest a warm welcome upon entry to the guest reception area.
  • Provide a friendly and efficient check-in/check-out process for guests while confirming the accuracy of guest data.
  • Prepare daily reports for use (arrivals, departures, transportation, etc.).
  • Review and process guest invoices for departures.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of:
    • room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and other general product knowledge;
    • local area amenities and activities;
    • products, amenities, and real estate offerings throughout the resort.
  • Communicate compelling opportunities to guests to amplify their experience while maximizing room occupancy and promoting add-on services.
  • Demonstrate personalized and anticipatory service by crafting welcome cards and amenities in advance of guest arrival.
  • Provide wake-up calls and voice mails to guests.
  • Assess guests\' needs and provide the appropriate information on resort activities, real estate, and the resort in general.
  • Ensure the cash float balances at the end of the shift.
  • Manage the supplies inventory and assist with general office administration.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, tidy, and organized reception, guest lounge, and work environment.
  • Identify and report unsafe areas, activities, and hazards immediately.



Qualifications and Experience:
  • Guest services experience or enrolled in a post-secondary Hospitality program.
  • Excellent computer skills, experience using a reservations system are considered an asset.
  • Excellent telephone manner.



Physical Demands:
  • Ability to spend long hours moving around, walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, reaching.
  • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, or otherwise move objects.
