We are seeking a full time or part time dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our team at a vibrant hotel/resort. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management and customer service, ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor, providing exceptional customer service throughout their stay.
Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all guest information is accurately recorded.
Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly, addressing any issues or concerns with professionalism.
Operate multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls, providing information about hotel services and amenities.
Assist with night audit procedures as needed, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
Maintain knowledge of local attractions and events to provide guests with recommendations for their stay.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction and room readiness.
Uphold high standards of guest relations by fostering a positive atmosphere within the hotel environment.
Requirements
Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and another language (bilingual/multilingual candidates are highly valued).
Familiarity with hospitality software systems is an advantage.
Excellent phone etiquette and experience handling multi-line phone systems.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the hotel schedule.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address guest needs efficiently.
