Job Description

The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process while providing exceptional customer service. Term: From commencement date until completion of seasonal workload, expected end date January 16, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:



Greet and assist guests with check-in, check-out, and inquiries. Manage reservations, updates, and special requests using the hotel's property management system. Process payments and maintain accurate financial records. Address guest concerns promptly and communicate with relevant departments. Ensure front desk cleanliness and organization.

Qualifications:



Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills:

Strong communication, computer proficiency, and multitasking abilities.

Experience:

Prior front desk/customer service experience preferred.

Availability:

Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:



Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.

Reports to:

Front Office Manager or General Manager

Job Types: Fixed term contract, Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Calgary, AB T3B 0M4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:

Front Desk: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
