Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Previous hotel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures*
Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, manage reservations, and provide information*
Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive experience*
Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations in the property management system*
Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services*
Coordinate with housekeeping team to ensure guest rooms are prepared and issues are resolved swiftly*
Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and professional communication at all times*
Prepare end-of-shift reports*
Follow Motel policies on safety, security, and compliance*
Laundry and light housekeeping is required*

Skills

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor*
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written*
Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently*
Knowledge of front desk operations in a hotel or hospitality environment preferred*
Familiarity with guest services software and hotel management systems is a plus*
Professional appearance and demeanor with attention to detail*
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively*
