We are seeking a friendly and efficient Counter Attendant to join our team in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. Duties

Greet customers promptly and courteously, creating a welcoming atmosphere Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS Prepare and assemble food items according to established standards and safety guidelines Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to food safety standards Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service Restock supplies as needed and assist with food preparation when required Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain hygiene standards Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns professionally

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours Kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting Basic knowledge of serving techniques and upselling strategies is beneficial
