Responsibilities

Deliver one-on-one or group tutoring sessions in various subjects, including languages such as Mandarin, French, Spanish, and Japanese. Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student's needs and learning goals. Assess students' progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly. Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation. Assist students with homework, exam preparation, and improving writing skills. Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student development when necessary.

Skills

Proficiency in multiple languages including Mandarin, French, Spanish, or Japanese is highly desirable. Strong English language skills, both written and verbal. Experience working with children and understanding of classroom dynamics. Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred, especially with diverse age groups. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of varying ages and backgrounds. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to individual learning styles. Strong writing skills for developing educational materials and assessments. Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education and helping students succeed.

Pay: $18.41-$53.44 per hour
