Responsibilities:
Provide
in-person tutoring sessions
for students at all levels, from
beginner to Grade 12
.
Support both
Core French
and
French Immersion
students in alignment with the
BC curriculum
.
Help students improve their skills in
grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, and oral communication
.
Prepare students for quizzes, exams, presentations, and written assignments.
Adjust teaching strategies to suit individual learning needs and goals.
Foster a
positive and engaging learning environment
that promotes growth and confidence.
Track student progress and provide regular updates to parents/guardians.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of the
BC French curriculum
for Grades K-12.
Fluency in
spoken and written French
.
Prior tutoring or teaching experience is preferred, especially with high school and beginner-level students.
Ability to explain language concepts clearly and creatively.
Patient, reliable, punctual, and professional.
